Wouldn’t it be great if your child could learn the basics of social dancing – along with essential etiquette skills – and have fun doing it? Manners in Motion® is a program where kids learn partner dancing, social skills, dining etiquette and then get to dance to a live band. The program features an innovative and highly motivating teaching technique.

Directed by Dance Coach & Choreographer Cynthia Glinka and A.C. Griffing

For the past 13 years, Cynthia and her partner A.C. have inspired thousands of Bay Area Middle Schoolers. They now bring a new level of fun, glamour and excitement to classic Cotillion instruction. Sessions are taught in a supportive, non-competitive environment that integrates social group awareness with a sense of style and grace.

The Program

Program Fee	$300 per student.  Registration is monitored to achieve a balanced number of followers and leaders. Registration form must be completed, signed and received with payment no later than January 23. Special Discount! Enroll one boy and one girl at reduced cost of $275 each.  Must register together. Inquire about payment plans, scholarships or financial assistance.
Attire	Gentlemen: Blazer or sport coat, slacks, tie and dress shoes. Ladies: Skirt or dress (reasonable length, no strapless tops) and stockings. Shoes: No flip flops, backless sandals or tennis shoes.
On The Dance Floor	Students will be coached and rehearsed in popular social dances including Swing, Fox Trot, Tango, and more, with continuous partner rotation; along with how to ask for and accept a dance, escort a partner to and from the dance floor and how to identify different musical tempos.
Dining Do's and Don'ts	(Etiquette Evening) Kids learn table manners as they rehearse and explore the art of dining etiquette and socializing in a formal setting. A three-course meal will be served at the Lafayette Park Hotel.
RED CARPET GALA	It’s Showtime! The evening features a buffet and dancing to a live dance band. It will be an Opening Night to remember! Families are invited to join us at 8:30 pm.
